On March 26, Dr. Liu Rong, Senior Director of Global Education Center of the University of Malaya, visited our university. President Liu Zhiqiang met with the guests, Vice President Fu Baixue and the person in charge of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office attended the relevant activities.

Liu Zhiqiang, on behalf of the school, welcomed the guests. He said that the University of Malaya is Malaysia’s premier public research-based comprehensive university, ranked 65th in the 2024 QS World University Rankings. We are very much looking forward to the cooperation with the University of Malaya, and believe that the University of Malaya’s high-quality educational resources will be able to help the school to enhance its international schooling reputation and level, and also provide a higher learning and exchange platform for teachers and students.  

Liu Rong introduced in detail the international education cooperation strategy of the University of Malaya and the cooperation with Chinese higher education institutions in academic exchanges, teaching research, teacher training and other aspects. She said that the University of Malaya hopes that the two sides will join hands to develop from student exchanges, mutual visits of teachers, academic exchanges, and continuously improve exchanges, and gradually carry out all-round, wide-ranging and multi-level cooperation.

During the visit, the guests of the University of Malaya also visited the University History Museum and the Museum of Engineering Culture.
